Coughlin Fights Off Other Drivers at Last Great Colosseum

Cody Coughlin battled hard at the Last Great Colosseum.  The 21 year-old fought an ill-handling race truck in the later stages for the 200-lap NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race to a 17th-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway (TN).

Coughlin started eighth and raced in the top 10 for much of the UNOH 200 before his RIDE TV/JEGS.com Toyota Tundra for ThorSport Racing went to the tight side.

Coughlin Ready to Climb Aboard his Chariot at the Last Great Colosseum

The traditional uniform for a race car driver is a fire-proof suit, gloves, shoes and a helmet. On Wednesday, Cody Coughlin will don all of that, but he could also use a shield, sword and body armor as he heads to “The Last Great Colosseum” of Bristol Motor Speedway (TN) for the first time. Coughlin will pilot his No. 13 RIDE TV/JEGS.com Toyota Tundra for ThorSport Racing in Wednesday’s UNOH 200 for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Coughlin Strong Top-Five Run at Michigan Ends at the Hands of Another Competitor

Cody Coughlin was poised for a strong finish in the LTI Printing 200 for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Michigan International Speedway before contact on a restart resulted in a hard crash.

The Delaware, Ohio native was running in the top five when contact from the truck behind him on a restart sent him hard into the inside wall on Lap 65. The 21-year-old driver was okay, but the crash ended his day prematurely.

Coughlin finished 21st after starting in the 15th position in the No. 12 RIDE TV / JEGS Toyota Tundra for ThorSport Racing.

Coughlin Aces “Tricky Triangle” Scoring First Career Top 10 Finish

Pocono Raceway’s nickname is the “Tricky Triangle,” but in Saturday’s Overtons 150 for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Cody Coughlin didn’t find the 2.5-mile Pennsylvania triangle to be all that tricky.  The 21 year-old scored his first career top 10 with an eighth-place finish.

Coughlin’s day began with him narrowly missing the second round of qualifying. He quickly worked his way through the field from his 13th-place starting position.

Coughlin Shows Plenty of Speed in the Bluegrass State

Cody Coughlin had been itching to get back to Kentucky Speedway for a long time, and he showed why on Thursday night in the Buckle Up in Your Truck 225. Coughlin raced in the top 10 for much of the late-night race that was delayed by rain. Coughlin eventually finished 15th after his engine expired on the final lap of the 150-lap event.

The Delaware, Ohio driver started 14th after qualifying was rained out. When the green flag waved a little after 10 p.m. Coughlin’s race got wild.
