Coughlin Leads the Way at Talladega Superspeedway

Cody Coughlin showed that he is a true contender for race wins in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in Saturday’s fred’s Pharmacy 250 at Talladega Superspeedway. Coughlin raced his way from the 18th starting position into the lead during the race’s final stage before getting caught up in a big crash with about 20 laps to go.

Coughlin led multiple laps on more than one occasion throughout Saturday’s 94-lap race. His day ended when he was caught up in a multi-truck crash in the tri-oval of the 2.66-mile superspeedway.

Coughlin Hits the Jackpot in Vegas with Career-Best Finish

Cody Coughlin is walking away from Las Vegas with some cash in his pocket and a pep in his step after scoring a career-best NASCAR Camping World Truck Series finish in Saturday’s Las Vegas 350 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in his No. 13 RIDE TV/JEGS.com Toyota Tundra for ThorSport Racing.

The Delaware, Ohio native started Saturday’s race from the 12th position and raced through adversity to a sixth-place finish, the best of his career. Coughlin’s previous career-best finish was a seventh-place result at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania earlier this season.

Coughlin Seeking a Diamond in the Desert at Las Vegas

One of Cody Coughlin’s favorite cities in America is Las Vegas, and that’s where he’ll get the chance to race this Saturday night in the Las Vegas 350 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Coughlin will pilot his No. 13 RIDE TV/JEGS.com Toyota Tundra for ThorSport Racing.

Saturday’s race at Las Vegas will not be the first time the Delaware, Ohio driver sees the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Coughlin has one prior start at the 1.5-mile “Diamond in the Desert” one year ago.

Coughlin Shows Resilience All Day at New Hampshire

Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway was a day that showed just how much resilience Cody Coughlin and his ThorSport Racing team have. Coughlin cut a tire down in qualifying, causing him to start at the rear of the field for the UNOH 175. Coughlin was still able to rally to a top-15 finish.

The Delaware, Ohio driver qualified in the 23rd position but had to drop to the tail of the field due to an unapproved tire change after cutting the right-rear tire down in qualifying.

Coughlin Hoping to Lead Laps and Make Magic in Loudon

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is one of Cody Coughlin’s favorite places to race for a few reasons. Fortunately for Coughlin, the track nicknamed the “Magic Mile” is the next place Coughlin races this Saturday for the UNOH 175 with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

One of the reasons Coughlin enjoys New Hampshire Motor Speedway is because the flat, one-mile oval races like a short track, and Coughlin, the first driver to win the ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Late Model championships in the same season, is a short track ace.

Coughlin Fights Through Deflating Tire to a Strong Finish at Chicagoland

The number on Cody Coughlin’s JEGS.com/RIDE TV Toyota Tundra is 13, but his number at Chicagoland Speedway (IL) seemed to be 11. Coughlin started and finished in the 11th position Friday after racing inside the top-10 for much of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.

The Delaware, Ohio driver ran as high as eighth during Friday’s 150-lap race, but had to settle for 11th due to a right-front tire with slow leak during the final run of TheHouse.com 225.

Coughlin Twists His Way Through Canadian Road Course

Cody Coughlin’s maiden voyage in his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on a road course at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park had plenty of twists and turns. Coughlin Ready To Turn Left and Right North of the Border

When Cody Coughlin was a young he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps as a racer car driver, yet he still wanted to be his own person.  So, instead of traveling down the straight path as a drag racer, he decided to turn left to stock car racing on the oval tracks of America.  That too will change this weekend when Coughlin turns left and right in his first NASCAR start on a road course.
