Paige Coughlin will continue her education in the classroom and behind the wheel of her JEGS.com Super Comp dragster in 2019.
The daughter of three-time NHRA Pro Mod champ Troy Coughlin, Paige is finishing her freshman year at Miami University of Ohio in Oxford, Ohio, and when her schedule permits, she'll race in the Sportsman ranks in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.
The third-generation racer moved from a Junior Dragster into the NHRA Sportsman classes in the second half of 2017 and will continue racing in the ultra-competitive Super Comp ranks this season. When time permits, Paige will race in the North Central Division.
Paige licensed in a Super Comp car under the guidance of her legendary grandfather, Jeg Coughlin Sr., the founder of JEGS High Performance, her dad Troy, her brother Troy Jr., and JEGS.com crew chief Justin Beaver.
She is the younger sister of Top Alcohol Dragster regional champion and multi-time NHRA race winner Troy Jr. and sister to Meghan and Kelly. Aside from racing, and with the steady guidance of father Troy and mom Julie, Paige earned terrific grades at Worthington Christian High School before moving on to Miami University, where she is heavily involved with the equestrian team.
Away from the track, Paige enjoys showing horses, playing the violin and learning different languages.
