Paige Coughlin, the daughter of drag racing champion Troy Coughlin, loves horsepower of all kinds. She's so it's second nature for her to love the sport of drag racing.
But Paige also loves another form of horsepower, one different than her grandfather Jeg Coughlin Sr. and her uncles John, Mike and Jeg. Jr. Paige enjoys showing her award-winning ponies, and she's become quite adept at her "other" craft.
Together with her younger sister Kelly, Paige competes in the Children's Hunter Jumper Small Pony division in AA-rated shows from Florida to New York. Paige already has qualified for the prestigious 2015 Pony Finals in Lexington, Ky. She also has her sites set on the elite Devon Show.
Away from the stables, Paige plays the violin and is learning several different languages.
For 2015, Paige is getting a new JEGS.com Junior Dragster, one that matches the rest of the fleet for the JEGS team. This will help unify chassis setup so each driver and car can compare notes and perform better.
