Paige Coughlin

After moving her way into the NHRA's Sportsman ranks on a limited basis in the second half of 2017, third-generation drag racer Paige Coughlin is kicking things into high gear in 2018 with a vastly expanded schedule of races in her JEGS.com Super Comp dragster.

Steeped in racing tradition, Paige is the teenage daughter of three-time NHRA Pro Mod champion Troy Coughlin, the sister of multi-time NHRA race winner Troy Coughlin Jr., and granddaughter of Hall of Famer Jeg Coughlin Sr. She began racing in a Junior Dragster in 2014 before moving to the 8.9-second, 175-mph JEGS.com dragster last season.

Aside from racing and with the steady guidance of father Troy and mom Julie, Paige earned terrific grades at Worthington Christian High School. This year she'll make the transition to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio – while still following her grandfather, dad, brother, sister Meghan and three uncles, John, Mike and Jeg Jr. into the NHRA ranks.

Paige licensed in a Super Comp car last year under the guidance of her legendary grandfather, the founder of JEGS High Performance, her dad and JEGS.com crew chief Justin Beaver. She will once again race in the North Central Division as she finishes her high school studies and transitions to college.

Away from the track, Paige enjoys showing horses, playing the violin and learning different languages.
