Salem, Indiana: Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS has officially released the 2021 schedule for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance. The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour 2021 schedule will consist of 13 races, 11 of those are point events, and two non-point special events. 2021 will be the 11th season of competition for the crate late model touring series sanctioned by Champion Racing Association.
“We are really excited about the 2021 schedule with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour,” remarked Glenn Luckett, Managing Partner of CRA. “We have a great mix of events on the schedule, with some great high-profile events that will challenge our drivers throughout the season and provide some great racing for our fans!”
CRA will continue the Chase for the Championship format for determining a series champion for the 2021 season. The playoff format has produced more teams competing for a championship in every CRA division since CRA started using that format in 2017.
The 2021 racing season kicks off with the traditional non-points opener for both the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour with CRA SpeedFest 2021 at Crisp Motorsports Park in Cordele, Georgia on Saturday, January 23rd. The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour race will be a 125 lap four tire event, counting yellow flag laps up to lap 100. This event has traditionally attracted the best Pro Late Model drivers from all around the country.
The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will kick off its 2021-point season on Sunday, April 25th with a return to Southern Indiana’s Salem Speedway, located in Salem, IN. The series last raced at Salem in June of 2018 when Cole Williams got the win. The ARCA/CRA Super Series will also be in action with that event.
The series will head to the famed Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, Tennessee for the first of three events at that historic facility in 2021 on Saturday, May 8th. The ARCA/CRA Super Series will also be in action that weekend in Nashville.
The series will then go to Anderson Speedway, in Anderson, Indiana on Saturday, June 12th. The track was added back to the series schedule in 2019 after racing there from 2011 through the 2016 season.
The series will then make its only visit to the state of Ohio in 2021, for its first ever event at Kil-Kare Raceway on Sunday, June 27th.
4th of July weekend will see the series return to Jennerstown Speedway located in Jennerstown, Pennsylvania. The series will have a 100 lap, $5,000 to win feature in conjunction with a $20,000 to win ARCA/CRA Super Series and CARS Tour 200 lap event on Saturday, July 3rd.
The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour schedule is then highlighted by a return visit to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville for the famed CRA Masters of the Pro’s 150 on Saturday, July 17th. 2020 was the first time the Masters of the Pro’s event had taken place in Nashville and had 42 cars take part in the event.
The series will then head to Michigan for a new event at Birch Run Speedway in Birch Run, Michigan on Saturday, July 31st. The ARCA/CRA Super Series and Victory Custom Trailers CRA Junior Late Models will also be part of this huge new event at Birch Run.
The series will stay in Michigan as part of the Battle at Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway on Saturday, August 21st. That event will once again be a combo points event for the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and the Berlin Raceway Super Late Models. That event will be the race in the 2021 Chase for the Championship for the series.
The Labor Day tradition is up next as the series will head to the legendary 1/2-mile-high banks of Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana on Saturday, September 6th on Labor Day Weekend. The show will go to a Saturday/Sunday format for 2021, with a built-in rain date on Monday. That event will be the second race of the series 2021 Chase.
The series will then be the featured event at Fall Brawl 2021 at Lucas Oil Raceway just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, October 2nd. That event will be the third event of the series 2021 Chase.
The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will crown their 2021 Tour Champion at Winchester Speedway as part of the 50th Annual Winchester 400 Weekend on Friday, October 15th in its second visit of the season to Winchester Speedway.
The series will make its third stop of 2021 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway to close out the 2021 season with a special 100 lap non-points event as part of the famed All American 400 Weekend on Sunday, October 31st.
