Salem, IN. (September 28, 2021) – The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance will return to action this Saturday in the Allgaier Performance Parts Fall Brawl at the famed Lucas Oil Raceway, located just outside of Indianapolis in Brownsburg, Indiana. The Fall Brawl event has become a very popular stock car racing event in central Indiana with each feature winner getting an event signature trophy that includes a pair of boxing gloves. The Fall Brawl event was revamped for the 2021 event by Lucas Oil Raceway, it will be a one day show on Saturday with evening feature racing under the lights.
Saturday’s event will be the series eighth points event of the 2021 season. Trey Craig picked up his first ever series victory at the series points season opener at Salem Speedway on April 25th. Cody Coughlin got the win in the series second event of the season at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on May 8th and then the Delaware, Ohio native went to victory lane again at the series third event of the season at Anderson Speedway on June 12th. Kyle Jones got the win in the Dayton 100 at Kil-Kare Raceway on June 27th. Willie Allen picked up the win in the Masters of the Pros 150 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on July 17th. Coughlin picked up his series leading third win of the season at the series event at Birch Run Speedway on July 31st. Brian Campbell added to his series all-time victory total with a win in the series event at Berlin Raceway on August 21st.
Coughlin, the 2013, 2016 and 2020 series Champion, comes into Saturday’s event as the current series Championship points leader and was the series Regular Season Champion after Birch Run, locking him into the final Chase for the Championship four drivers to race for the series Championship at Winchester Speedway on October 15th. Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year points contender Andrew Scheid is second in points after a career high finish at Berlin Raceway, finishing second to Campbell by a few feet. 2020 series Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year Chase Burda is third in series points. Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year points leader Tanner Jack is fourth in series points. Dylan Bates is fifth and rookie Brian Demland is sixth. The top five in the Chase for the Championship points are all entered for Saturday’s series event trying to secure the last three positions to race for the series Championship at Winchester. Demland suffered a blown engine at Berlin and will sit out the rest of the 2020 season.
Campbell is entered and will look to add to his all-time series victory list and to his total of five Fall Brawl wins to date. His last win at the event was in 2018. Campbell was the 2021 Berlin Raceway Late Model Champion. Campbell will have a teammate for Saturday’s race, Holland, Michigan’s Mike Bursley will jump back in a car to compete with the series for the first time since he raced at this event in 2014. Bursley has two series wins to date, including one at Lucas Oil Raceway in 2013.
2015 event winner Jack Smith is entered for Saturday’s race in the Platinum Motorsports car, which won last year’s Fall Brawl event with Travis Braden behind the wheel. Smith has not raced the past several seasons because of his business endeavors.
Other past series winners entered for Saturday’s event includes 2021 Salem Speedway winner Trey Craig, 2021 Kil-Kare winner Kyle Jones, 2016 Winchester Speedway winner Brandon Oakley and 2017 Owosso Speedway winner Kyle Crump, who also won the Redbud 400 and Battle at Berlin 150 with the ARCA/CRA Super Series this year.
Other top CRA competitors entered for Saturday’s race include Mandy Chick, Ethan Stadniczuk. Kevin Cremonesi, James Krueger, Chad Pendleton, Albert Francis, Colby Lane, Tony Brutti and Danny Trent.
Several regular competitors from the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Pro Late Model Division are entered including leading rookie Jordon Riddick, Hunter Wright, Stacy Crain and Joey Strode.
Berlin Raceway multi-time feature winner and Championship contender Evan Shotko is also entered as he seeks his first CRA win.
Pit gates open on Saturday at 10am. Practice will begin at 2pm with each division getting two sessions. Jerico Performance Products Qualifying for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour is scheduled to begin at 5:15pm. The event’s Jerico Performance Products Fast Qualifier will also receive a set of signature Corn Hole Game Boards from VanDoorn Racing Development.
Racing will begin at 6pm on Saturday and will include the Allgaier Performance Parts Fall Brawl 100 for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. Also racing Saturday night will be the Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA Late Model Sportsman, the Van Hoy Oil CRA Street Stocks and the Vore’s Compact Touring Series.
