The last 72 hours have been busy for Cody Coughlin, as he has spent the last three days testing his ARCA Racing Series car and his Super Late Model. Now his Team JEGS crew will get ready for the 7-Up 150 Border Wars this weekend at Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio.

“We had two good days of testing at Salem Speedway,” the Joe Gibbs Racing Development driver said. “It was a good learning experience for me since my only experience at Salem has been in a Late Model. The car was real fast in race trim. In fact, all three Venturini Motorsports were real close in times. I am really looking forward to the ARCA Racing Series event on April 27th.”
On Thursday, he got behind his Super Late Model to shake it down in preparation for this Saturday’s 7-Up 150 Border Wars event featuring the top drivers in the ARCA/CRA Super Series and the ARCA Midwest Tour.
“Again, we had a good test session and got a solid baseline setup heading into the weekend,” the 2013 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour champion said. “The track didn’t have much rubber on it today, but with practice on Friday and prior to the race on Saturday, we know the conditions will change. We feel confident that we will be ready to adapt and look forward to a solid finish on Saturday.”
Qualifying will get underway at 1pm with racing starting at 3pm EST at Toledo Speedway. Fans will get an opportunity to meet Cody at a pre-race autograph session on Saturday.
