New Hampshire Motor Speedway is one of Cody Coughlin’s favorite places to race for a few reasons. Fortunately for Coughlin, the track nicknamed the “Magic Mile” is the next place Coughlin races this Saturday for the UNOH 175 with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

One of the reasons Coughlin enjoys New Hampshire Motor Speedway is because the flat, one-mile oval races like a short track, and Coughlin, the first driver to win the ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Late Model championships in the same season, is a short track ace.

“I’m really looking forward to going back to New Hampshire. It races like a short track and I love short track racing, so that’ll be fun. Hopefully we’ll get back into the top 10 and have a really strong run.”

The second reason came in Coughlin’s first trip to the track one year ago. Coughlin led the first laps of his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career in this event last year.

The last reason Coughlin loves heading to New Hampshire is because New Hampshire is known for its seafood.

“I love a good lobster tail,” Coughlin said. “Honestly though, I’m excited for New Hampshire because I think we’ll race really well there. I know my guys at ThorSport Racing will give me a great TV Toyota Tundra. If all goes well, hopefully the guys and I can go celebrate with some lobster tail.”

Coughlin will hit the track in Loudon, New Hampshire for the first time this weekend on Friday, September 22nd for two practice sessions. The first practice session will begin at 1:30 p.m. ET. Final practice will begin at 3:30 p.m. and conclude at 4:25. Both practice sessions will air live on FOX Sports 1.

Saturday, September 23rd is UNOH 175 race day at the Magic Mile. The day will begin with three-round knockout qualifying at 10 a.m. ET live on FOX Sports 1. The green flag for the UNOH 175 will wave at 1 p.m. ET live on FOX Sports 1.

The UNOH 175 has a total distance of 175 laps. The race is broken into three stages. The first two stages will be 55 laps each with the final stage consisting of 65 laps unless the race requires NASCAR Overtime.
