Jeg Coughlin Jr. won Pro Stock at the Memphis event in 2000 and 2002 and he was a runner-up in 2003. In 2000 he defeated Scott Geoffrion in the final round. In 2002, he defeated Gene Wilson, and in 2003, he lost to Greg Anderson.
Jeg also has a runner-up finish in Super Stock at the 1998 Memphis race.
In six appearances at Memphis Motorsports Park, Jeg Coughlin has a stunning 18-4 record in elimination rounds.
In 2003, Jeg qualified No. 1 and set low elapsed time of the event with a 6.748, which is the current Memphis Pro Stock track elapsed time record.
