Jeg featured in motivational video: Two-time Pro Stock champion Jeg Coughlin Jr. spent Tuesday surrounded by bright lights and television cameras filming part of a motivational video for Key Bank and McDonald Securities. Other parts of the video will focus on CART champion Gil de Ferran and Ohio State University Head Football Coach Jim Tressel, who guided his team to the 2002 NCAA title.

Coughlin was asked a number of questions about winning and what it takes to be a champion. He talked in detail about teamwork and dedication both on and off of the track. The 33-year-old second-generation driver used his many experiences in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series as real life examples of what it takes to be a winner.

“It was a great experience,” Coughlin said. “It was an honor to be chosen to talk about winning and what it takes to be a champion. To be in the company of such champions as Gil de Ferran and Coach Tressel is pretty amazing. It’s the type of thing that doesn’t hit you until a day or two later.”
