DELAWARE, Ohio (March 5) — This year’s 56th Annual Detroit Autorama will have a distinct JEGS Mail Order flavor with the yellow and black brigade displaying three vehicles and holding a special kids forum at the annual event, dubbed “America’s Premier Custom Car Show.” The Autorama runs from March 7-9 at the Cobo Center.
The centerpiece of the JEGS collection will be the JEGS.com Top Dragster that John Coughlin drove to the National Hot Rod Association’s Div. 3 championship in 2007. Also on display at the JEGS/Speedco exhibit trailer will be Gary Anderson’s 1940 Willys from the JEGS-sponsored Buckaroo Build-Off and the Speedco custom-built motorcycle created by Orange County Choppers.
Team JEGS chef Nicky Morse will also be speaking to a crowd of 3,000 youths on career goals and life in the fast lane of professional motorsports.
The Detroit Autorama runs from 12-10 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday.
