ThisIsBracketRacing.com announced JEGS as the presenting sponsor of the bi-weekly question and answer sessions on the growing Web site. Members can present questions regarding the instructional columns within the site or any topic related to sportsman drag racing competition within the JEGS question and answer portion of the Web site. At that point, ThisIsBracketRacing.com’s Luke Bogacki, or one of the all-star guest instructors of the site, will accurately and honestly answer each question via e-mail.
Every other week, the staff will select one applicable question and answer to post on the JEGS forum for all members to view. The author of the question used will receive a $25 JEGS gift certificate and their choice of ThisIsBracketRacing.com t-shirt or visor.
“We’re extremely excited to have JEGS onboard, supporting the website and our subscribers,” Bogacki said. “It’s just another example of JEGS and the Coughlin family supporting sportsman racers. They do so much for our sport.”
The JEGS forum will allow subscribers the unique opportunity to have one-on-one feedback with the instructors, clarify topics within the monthly tutorial columns, and present new topics for discussion.
ThisIsBracketRacing.com is a subscription-only online driving school for sportsman drag racing competitors. While the site can be accessed by anyone, the main features are reserved for site members. Those members enjoy monthly tutorial columns from sportsman racing standout Bogacki, the JEGS question and answer feedback, and bi-monthly guest editorial columns from some of the premier sportsman drivers in the nation.
Two-time B&M Racers Appreciation Series Footbrake Champion Jared Pennington has already penned the introductory guest column. The remaining 2009 roster has been set with an all-star lineup that includes Danny Waters Jr., Peter Biondo, Troy Williams Jr., Brian Folk, and Jeg Coughlin Jr.
In addition to these tutorials, members also have access to the most comprehensive sportsman schedule available, including NHRA and IHRA national and divisional events, ET Finals, and nearly every bracket race that boasts a winners purse of $5,000 or more.
The site also hosts the BTE Power Rankings, an innovative ranking system in which drivers earn points for final-round finishes for any event on the comprehensive schedule, regardless of class or sanction. This system stacks the top competitors from all facets of sportsman competition against one another in an effort to determine who has the best season. The 2009 champion will receive a BTE Top Dragster (or Top Sportsman) transmission valued at $3,590. Additional prize packages are currently being secured for each top-10 finisher (to receive prizes, top finishers must be an annual member of ThisIsBracketRacing.com by Sept. 1, 2009).
