The 39th annual North Central Division Land of the Winners Awards Banquet was held this past weekend at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel and Suites. A special tribute honoring Don “Pinky” Cobbs a member of the North Central Division Certification Team for nearly four decades, who passed away this past fall, received a standing ovation from the nearly 450 in attendance.

The 2005 Division 3 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, NHRA Summit Racing Series, NHRA Dart Top Sportsman Racing Series, NHRA Jeg’s Super Quick Series, and NHRA O’Reilly Auto Parts Jr. Drag Racing League champions along with a number of other special award winners were honored.
