Jeg Coughlin Jr. won the Denver event back-to-back in 1998 and 1999 and was a runner-up in 2003.

The Coughlin brothers met in the final of the 1999 Denver race, with Jeg claiming the win over Troy. It was the second time the brothers raced in the final (1998 Pomona was the first).

In six appearances at Bandimere Speedway, Jeg Coughlin has a 12-4 record in elimination rounds.

Troy Coughlin has qualified for the Denver event every year since 1995 except for 2002, when he did not compete. His mother-in-law passed away and did not show for the event. His record in elimination rounds is 9-8. His best qualifying performance came in 1999, when he was fourth.
