DELAWARE, Ohio (March 2) — Race fans in Northwest Ohio have the chance to see a little slice of NHRA drag racing history at this weekend's 61st annual Indian Lake Boat Show. Six-time world champion and native Ohioan Jeg Coughlin Jr. will display the very racecar he drove to the 2013 world title, a gleaming yellow-and-black Dodge Avenger.

"This car is very special to all of us at JEGS," Coughlin said. "It shows a year's worth of commitment and hard work that ultimately led us to the championship. We love having the opportunity to share our love of racing with motorsports fans and I'm sure they'll be a bunch of folks at the Indian Lake Boat Show that will enjoy seeing this racecar."

The Indian Lake Boat show is the annual spring event for the entire Indian Lake area. Boaters, campers, visitors, tourists and residents look forward to this annual event as it traditionally marks the beginning of spring activities in the area. The 2017 Indian Lake Boat show will feature excellent deals, good food, and meetings with old and new friends. Annually boaters come to the Indian Lake Boat show and enjoy the fun and excitement of seeing the new and used boats on display. Snacks and prizes are available throughout the weekend and the boating fans love seeing the many new boats available from boat dealers at Indian Lake.

The Indian Lake Boat Show runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday-Sunday, on the shores of Indian Lake. Visit for more information.
